Appleton, Wis. (August 7, 2018) – SECURA Insurance released a new digital feature for independent agents, allowing agencies to effortlessly download policy documents to their agency management systems. The eDocs system streamlines document transfers between the carrier and its independent agency partners, eliminating the need to manually transfer information for each policyholder.
“The reaction from our agents is overwhelmingly positive,” said Todd Thiel, Vice President–Information Technology. “Our goal at SECURA is to deliver technology solutions that make it easier to do business with us.”
eDocs is the latest in a series of new agent-focused capabilities offered by SECURA. Earlier this year, the company launched an easy to search digital appetite tool for agents. They also unveiled a new Express Quotes interface, allowing agents to receive a quote on more than 140 small business classes in less than one business day. “eDocs is the latest offering in a series of improvements we have planned for our independent agency force,” said Thiel.
SECURA’s agents responded quickly to the announcement of eDocs with more than 150 agencies enrolled within the first 24 hours. “The enthusiasm we saw from our agents tells us that we’re delivering solutions they want and need,” said Tim Heyroth, Vice President–Sales. “Our agents value SECURA for our relationship-focused service. That deep connection with our agency force will help us select the solutions that further our mutual success.”
The eDocs functionality currently integrates with Applied, Hawksoft, NASA, and Vertafore agency management systems, and will likely expand to include more systems in the future.
“For us, eDocs is a huge game changer,” said Casey Hearring, System Administrator for Schultheis Insurance in Evansville, Ind. “We no longer have to spend time logging into the website to retrieve policy documents. This frees us up to spend more time with our clients — which is where we want to be.”
