Board of Director candidates

Mr. Bergstrom became a SECURA Board member in 2018. He is the president and CEO of Bergstrom Automotive and is responsible for day-to-day oversight of operations at all 39 locations and more than 2,300 team members.

Mr. Bergstrom graduated from Marquette University School of Business. He has completed the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Leadership Program. He received his master’s degree in management, strategy, and leadership from Michigan State University.

Mr. Bergstrom is also very active in the local community, volunteering in support of United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and the Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley. He serves as a Board member of Marquette University, Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, ThedaCare Hospital System, and the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center Neenah Foundation.

Mr. Behrens became a SECURA Board member in 2018. He currently serves as the executive vice president and CFO of Johnson Financial Group. He started his career as a staff auditor in 1985 and has advanced through different roles in Johnson Bank and Johnson Financial Group. Mr. Behrens is a member of the WICPA. He’s also active on the Racine Chamber of Commerce Board, Feeding America Board, Marquette University Commercial Banking Advisory Board, and his local chapter of the United Way.

Mr. Behrens holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a master’s degree in business administration from Marquette University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Ms. Gannon became a SECURA Board member in 2018. She brings more than 40 years of insurance experience to her role, having most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary of United Services Automobile Association (USAA).

Ms. Gannon’s experience includes developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans, building and leading a team of highly skilled actuaries and analytical professionals, and developing winning strategies for member services, financial results, and growth.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She’s a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).

Mr. Hess became a SECURA Board member in 2021. Mr. Hess is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin. Since March 2018, Mr. Hess has been leading an organization that lives out its mission of elevating people by eliminating barriers to employment through its programs, services, and retail store and training centers across 35 counties.

Before joining Goodwill, Mr. Hess previously served as vice president of market development and sales for ThedaCare, a nonprofit healthcare organization. He also has held leadership roles within U.S. Venture and Genco (now FedEx Supply Chain). He has been named one of Wisconsin’s most influential Black leaders. A native of Kenosha, Mr. Hess graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere and earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
