Cara Hughes
Cara started her insurance career as an associate account manager at R&R Insurance Services in 2015. Since then, she’s held several different underwriting positions with West Bend Mutual. Cara joined SECURA in 2022 as a Specialty Lines underwriter.
Cara is most proud of the service that she provides to her agents and the relationships that she gets to build with them.
Outside of work, Cara’s hobbies include water skiing, reading, spending time at the lake, and spending time with friends and family. An interesting fact about Cara is that she has been on a water ski show team since she was six years old.
Lynn Huizar
Lynn comes to SECURA with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining SECURA, Lynn was a Commercial Lines underwriter at Hastings Mutual. In that role, she was responsible for managing a territory averaging $6M in premium. She would also negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions on new and renewal business policies. Prior to joining Hastings Mutual, she also spent time at Frankenmuth Insurance in various claims and underwriting roles.
When not in the office, you can find Lynn attending her kids’ sporting events, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new destinations.
Tripp Humston
Tripp joined SECURA in 2014 as a market manager before becoming regional sales director for Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan in 2018. Tripp was promoted to regional vice president – sales in January 2021.
Prior to joining SECURA, he worked for Liberty Mutual as a territory manager for 10 years.
