Kait Behm
Kait joined SECURA’s Associate Underwriter Program in June 2023 after gaining valuable experience as a Medicare compliance intern.
Outside of work, she stays busy planning her wedding, but when she finds free time, she enjoys going on walks or runs and spending time with her family. As a new aunt, she especially loves spending time with her niece.
A true outdoor enthusiast, Kait’s love for nature dates to her college days, where she spent one summer leading middle and high school students on backpacking and canoe trips. Kait has many more outdoor trips planned for the future.
Stefanie Benjamin
Stefanie graduated from St. Norbert College in 2005. She is a certified music educator K-12, and has more than 16 years of teaching experience. She started at SECURA in 2021 working at the front desk, and officially joined the Agency Education team in May 2023. She enjoys working hard to build her insurance knowledge, and is currently working on obtaining her CPCU and service excellence designations.
Outside of work, Stefanie is a busy mom of two teenagers, Calla and Marcus, who are both in cross country, basketball, and track, along with playing in the school band and other clubs.
She is a co-founder of a nonprofit, Snowdrop Foundation, which raises money and awareness for pediatric cancer. They fund research at Children’s Wisconsin, as well as scholarships for pediatric cancer survivors and patients.
Stefanie enjoys staying active. She has been a part of the Webfooter Water Ski Show team since 1997 and still skis today. She is also on the board of directors of the team and helps direct and write the show each year. Her entire family skis as well. If you’re available this summer, there are free shows every Wednesday and Sunday in Fremont, Wis.!
Other activities she enjoys include relaxing on her pontoon boat in the summer, snowmobiling in the winter, running, traveling (especially via cruises), and reading and learning, which is why she loves her role on the Agency Education team!
Kevin Benz
Kevin has been with SECURA many years, beginning as a field claims representative and supervisor before moving to sales. He is currently a regional sales manager. During his time as the Minnesota sales manager, he has helped grow the state from $18 million to $150 million. Kevin was recognized as MIIAB Company Representative of the Year in 2019.
“Working with agencies, producers, and staff to build lifelong relationships makes it the most rewarding job in the industry,” Kevin says.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys attending any sporting event Minnesota has to offer. He used to work Minnesota Vikings home games doing game day stats and for the teams and media.
