Nathan Droogsma earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. Nate worked as a risk consultant at Federated Insurance in Minnesota and North Dakota for nearly seven years before joining SECURA in August 2013 as a Risk Management Consultant. Nate took on the dual role of Supervisor/Senior Risk Consultant in January 2017.

He is a Certified Safety Professional and has earned his Associate in Risk Management certification.

Sports and the outdoors are what Nate enjoys while not serving customers. He has coached in the Elk River Youth Hockey Association for the past 15 years. He also enjoys spending time with his family at the cabin. Nate resides in Elk River, Minnesota with his wife and three daughters.
