Before joining SECURA, Matt worked at State Farm Insurance, Wilson Mutual, and Auto-Owners. He joined us in 2018 as a Commercial Lines underwriter.

During Matt’s time at SECURA, he has developed a class focused on underwriting trucking and he teaches it to all Commercial Lines underwriters in the company.

In his free time Matt enjoys being a dad! When he doesn’t have “dad duties,” he enjoys working around the yard, fixing things, and home improvement projects.

Fun fact: Matt’s dad is an insurance agent and is a reason Matt chose insurance as his career path.
