John started at SECURA in 2003 in the Claims Department. In 2006, he transitioned to Commercial Lines underwriting and in 2013, he moved to Personal Lines underwriting before joining the Farm-Ag underwriting team in 2017. 

In his free time, John likes spending time with his kids, coaching his son in football, and watching him play hockey and baseball.
