Gavin joined SECURA in 2020 as a casualty claims intern. Since then he’s held a variety of roles in underwriting, including underwriting support specialist and renewal underwriter. In 2023, Gavin was promoted to Agribusiness Lines underwriter.

Gavin is most proud of how he gets along with his coworkers. He tries to make everyone feel heard, respected, and comfortable.

Some of his hobbies include photography, video editing, and most things involving technology. One fun fact about Gavin is that he has a music sharing YouTube channel with over 640k subscribers! When he was in high school, Gavin was jet skiing with a friend when a bald eagle dropped a perch on them. Naturally, they scooped it up, took it back to shore, cooked it, and ate it. Looking back he realizes it wasn’t the most sanitary way to get a fish, but he couldn’t let the opportunity to eat a fish caught by an eagle go to waste. Additoinally, Gavin is fiercely competitive and enjoys sports such as ultimate Frisbee and hockey.
