SECURA began in 1900 as The Farmers Home Mutual Hail, Tornado, and Cyclone Insurance Company of Seymour, Wisconsin. As our policyholders' needs changed, we expanded to include fire, homes and business. In 1932, we changed our name to Home Mutual Insurance Company, and directed our marketing focus toward additional rural markets and metropolitan areas.
In 1986, with company responsiveness as our philosophy, we changed our name to SECURA to better represent what our companies are all about: security, strength, service and stability. |
