At SECURA, we believe in treating our associates well. Therefore, we have developed a complete and comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of individuals and families. SECURA offers a wide variety of benefits, many of which are included in the Flexible Benefits Program which allows associates to choose the benefits and coverage levels that best meet their needs.
SECURA offers health, dental, and vision coverage, effective 30 days following the date of hire, to associates working 20 or more hours per week and their dependents, including spouses and dependent children. Premium contributions are deducted from paychecks on a pre-tax basis.
Home Office associates are covered by their choice of either Network Health Plan or United Health Plan's Point of Service (POS) program. All other associates are offered participation in Cypress Benefits Preferred Provider Organization (PPO).
There are additional benefit credits available to those associates who are covered under another health plan and opt not to participate in SECURA's plan.
Delta Dental's, PPO, and Freedom of Choice plans are offered through varying premium levels to meet your needs. Each plan has different coverage levels.
Associates are eligible to purchase one of two vision insurance programs, based on associate need. The program is insured through Vision Insurance Plan of America for themselves and their dependents.
SECURA offers associate coverage and pays the premiums for Term Life and AD&D. Associates may choose to enhance their coverage by purchasing supplemental Term Life Insurance for themselves and/or their dependents through payroll deduction at group rates.
Paid time off includes vacation days, selected calendar holidays, and a floating holiday. All full-time associates are awarded two weeks of vacation during their first year of employment, prorated for the year of hire, with the opportunity to earn up to five weeks. Associates also have the flexibility to buy and sell additional vacation days through our cafeteria-style benefits plan.
