Much of her career was spent with Zurich North America as a senior risk engineer where she traveled extensively throughout the United States to service customers. She also worked as a claims and risk manager for seven years for a PPO that was self-insured for mono-line workers’ compensation in the state of Colorado.
She has an AAS in Occupational Safety and Health, and completed numerous training courses. She holds several certifications including: Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Risk Insurance Specialist, and Credentialed OSHA Outreach Trainer (10 and 30 hour).
Sarah enjoys traveling, especially visiting European countries, as well as exotic destinations where she can go scuba diving. However, she loves everything that Colorado has to offer close to home where she often skis, snowmobiles, hikes, bikes, camps, and fishes with her family, especially her son, Austin, who has been skiing since he was 5 years old. He is in his third year of college at Western Washington University.
