Sara Stanton is originally from Michigan City, Ind. She attended Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and comparative literature. She spent nine years on the west coast as an environmental safety engineer for an international coatings manufacturer based in San Diego, Calif. During that time, she oversaw regulatory compliance at chemical manufacturing facilities, retail stores, and high volume distribution centers.
Prior to joining SECURA, Sara was an independent loss control representative and performed field services in central and southern Indiana. She is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist and earned the Associate in Risk Management designation. During the course of her career, Sara has performed safety and loss control services in 21 states and three foreign countries — however, she is proud to be working exclusively in her native Hoosier state.
In her free time, Sara enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
