SECURA promotes Weidert to Creative Marketer


Appleton, Wisconsin (September 12, 2013) —

SECURA Insurance has promoted Jim Weidert to Creative Marketer. In this newly created position, Weidert is responsible for supporting the company’s brand strategy by leading its creative vision and design aesthetic to develop unique creative concepts and solutions aligned to company business objectives.

“Jim brought 26-plus years of experience to our marketing team when he joined us last year. He quickly demonstrated his fresh perspective and ability to deliver new creative and technology solutions,” said Jean Van Den Brandt, Vice President – Marketing. “He is a great leader and complement to our current creative talent and as we look to the market to build upon our team.”

Prior to SECURA, Weidert worked as a Partner and Vice President of Marketing for AtomicTribe, an Appleton-based publishing company. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing and printmaking from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. He also completed a fine arts painting apprenticeship at Atelier Prohl in Milwaukee.
